A routine has fallen into place.

Tanvir spends the day at 'Sudarshan' participating in Spark-India's, now gently reassuring, humming activities. Tanvir, being Tanvir, makes everything work towards maximizing its potential and not weighing anyone down. Take the recent instance of first one and then both linear accelerators breaking down. (A linear accelerator, LINAC, is the device most commonly used for external beam radiation treatments for patients with cancer.) Radiation was rescheduled for the evening: an irritation causing interlude, with great potential for being a high priority event to justify a 'damn India', aside. Well, Tanvir wants to keep to an evening schedule now and is delighted that she can sleep off the 'woosiness' radiation causes at night and wake up bright eyed and bushy tailed to head to 'Sudarshan' for the day go for radiation as an evening outing.

Shyamala, our friend from Trichur was here for a couple of days. It was really good seeing you, Shyamala. Sabaahat, or Roofi, as he is known to many, is in Hyderabad but Tabbi, their sister Tabassum, has not been able to leave Chicago because, Mariam, Tabbi's youngest, a bubbling 10 year old little girl, hurt her ankle while playing with her brothers and cousins, all older. We hope all is well.

Today, Tanvir and Roofi are meeting Dr Srinivas with the blood report which...well...our lay eyes say, WBC count, RBC, Hemoglobin etc all seem O.K. there is something else and then there is a report due of the smear Dr Srinivas did himself the last time...we'll wait and watch. Aditi Mukherjee and Roofi will meet Dr Srinivas tomorrow.
